A woman has died and four others are in hospital after a horror two-car collision in Tasmania.
The crash occurred on the Bass Highway on Tuesday about 3.30pm, a Tasmanian Police spokeswoman said. A 64-year-old woman from Crayfish Creek died at the scene after the Holden Rodeo Ute she was driving collided with a blue Land Rover Freelander at Hellyer in the state’s northwest. The driver of the Land Rover, a 32-year-old woman, received serious injuries and was transported to the North West Regional Hospital.
